BEKELE BELACHOW NATURAL | ETHIOPIA
This coffee comes from Bekele Belachow, a producer and community leader in the Segera Kebele of Bensa, Sidama, Ethiopia. Grown at 2,200 meters above sea level, the coffee is produced from the 74158 varietal and sourced from Bekele’s own farms alongside cherries collected from neighboring smallholders. Bekele has worked closely with independent producers in the region since 2019, operating drying stations in both Bombe and Kokose while continuing to refine quality and processing across each harvest.
The cup profile is vibrant and layered, balancing ripe fruit with a dense sweetness and structured finish. Notes of melon and blackberry lead the cup, supported by a syrupy body and clean acidity that reflects the high elevation and careful drying process. The result is a coffee that feels expressive yet composed, showcasing the clarity and fruit character Bensa coffees are known for.
